The 2018 Petite Syrah is an award winning wine from the San Francisco Chronicle.  This Petite Syrah embodies the bold characteristics of our wines.  With its deep purple color, blackberry and plum flavors with a hint of toasted oak lingering on the palate, this Gold Medal wine truly gives a full-bodied wine experience.  Being aged in French and American Oak for 22 months allowed the tannins to become smooth yet distinguishable and the clay soils of our Petite Syrah vineyard impart mineral notes into the wine, a unique characteristic of this terroir.
