What do our packages include?

What do our venue packages NOT include?

• Beverage package
• Catering services
• Day-of coordinator
• Outside vendors (DJ, Florist, Photographer, etc)
• Table settings (plates, silverware, water goblets, centerpieces)

We allow you to choose whichever vendors you prefer to work with, our only stipulation is that they be licensed and insured to their industry standard.

What is the beverage package?

• We require the purchase of a hosted beverage package in addition to the venue rental fee. It includes your choice of red, white and sparkling wines, beers, seltzers, and wine cocktails
• For full wedding packages, we have beverage package options between $20-$30 per guest
• The per-person price includes glassware, bartenders, and unlimited pours of your chosen beverages

What does a wedding day at McConnell Estates look like?

1. Bridal suite access starts at 10:00am for bride and bridesmaids to get ready
2. Groom’s cottage access starts at 12:00pm for groom and your groomsmen to get ready
3. Ceremony starts at 5:00pm (can be shifted up to 1 hour earlier in Spring and Fall)
4. Cocktail hour in our furnished outdoor courtyard immediately following the ceremony
5. Reception begins in our barn following cocktail hour
6. Reception ends at 10:00pm
7. All guests must vacate the property by 11:00pm

Do you offer Ceremony-only services?

Can I bring in my own catering?
Yes! We do not have catering onsite. All catering choices must be licensed and inspected to serve food.

Can I bring in my own alcohol?
No. Our ABC license allows us to serve wine, beer, and seltzer only. All beverages must be purchased through McConnell Estates Winery.

Who do you get beer from?
We are contracted with Golden Brands for beer and seltzer, and can provide select craft beers through Flatland Brewing Co.

What about Non-Alcoholic Beverages?
We serve standard non-alcoholic beverages with your beverage package (options can include soda, water, sparkling water, lemonade, coffee, etc. and can be customized for your wedding).

Do you offer refrigeration for cake/dessert?
We do not have any refrigeration on site. We suggest cakes/desserts get delivered as close to service time as possible. During the summer, there is an option to hold them day-of in the air-conditioned tasting room.

Does McConnell Estates require a Day-Of Coordinator?
Yes, it is required and the responsibility of the client to provide their own day-of coordinator. McConnell Estates will provide an Events Manager on site throughout the event to assist with venue logistics.

What size tables do you provide?
Our standard tables for guests are 60” rounds that seat up to 8 guests comfortably.

What linen colors are available?
Our standard linen color is off-white cottonesse. We contract with Altar Event Co. for our events, and can provide optional upgrades or options upon request.

What chairs do you provide?
White resin chairs with padded seats are included for both the ceremony and reception. We provide 2 sets of chairs for the ceremony and reception.

Farm Table description and details.
We have 5 handmade farm tables included in our venue rental package. (4 standard height and 1 high top). These tables are often used for: sweetheart and/or wedding party tables, dessert tables, sign in, photobooth props, catering, and more.

Outside Vendors.
You can bring in all your own vendors with McConnell Estates approval EXCEPT alcohol. For certain categories of vendors, you must provide us with an insurance certificate naming McConnell Estates Winery as an additionally insured party.

Do I need to provide insurance?
Yes, you must carry a basic event policy. This can be procured through your own insurance agency, or through our insurance partner, eWed.
