Located at the 1860’s home of the McConnell family, the Estate Tasting Room is just 15 min south of Downtown Sacramento and 20 min north of Lodi Wine Country. What once was a family home built over a century ago, is now a vibrant winery and welcoming tasting destination where guests can experience estate-grown wines from the Cosumnes River AVA.
Join us during operating hours to savor estate-grown wine tastings, glass and bottle service, and a selection of retail offerings. Guests are invited to relax in the charm of our historic tasting room, shaded patio, or scenic lawn set against a backdrop of estate vineyards. The property also features thoughtfully designed wedding and private event spaces for memorable occasions.

As we host special events throughout the year, tasting room availability may be limited on the dates below. We recommend securing reservations or purchasing event tickets in advance:

Reservations for 9 – 30 guests:
Tasting Room Reservations between 9 – 30 guests are considered a large party tasting room reservation and are subject to a $10 reservation fee per guest. This is a perfect option for large group tastings, birthday parties, showers, or corporate outings!
Groups of 14 guests or less are welcome year round.
Groups larger than 14 guests are best accommodated between May and October due to weather uncertainty.
- Reservation fee is due upon booking and must be reserved through our Manager
- Guest counts ≤ 14 can be accommodated inside of our Tasting Room or outside on our Tasting Room lawn
- Guest counts ≥ 15 can only be accommodated outside on our tasting room lawn
- The $10 reservation fee includes:
- Tables, chairs, and tablecloths
- 3 hours maximum reservation time
- Table service
- You are welcome to bring your own picnic-style food and snacks (no on-site catering or outside alcohol is allowed)
- Tabletop décor is allowed; however, all lawn decorations, confetti, glitter, poppers and any non-biodegradable décor is prohibited
- A 4-bottle purchase minimum is required with this reservation; tastings are available for groups up to 16 guests
- Dogs are always welcome outdoors at McConnell Estates
